I’m sorry to break up the normal pattern of this blog, but I just have something resting on my heart right now that simply must be shared.
Old Spice man, you have successfully captured my heart. And my boyfriend’s, too.
My man smells very good and I attribute this to none other than Old Spice Swagger body wash, but we are both simply in awe of your chiseled abdominals and wondrous core figure. That being said, while we were in Yosemite, he did offer to carve me a canoe from a large old tree and build me a log cabin with his bare hands so I guess I have the best of both worlds. A modern day Almanzo, if you will.
I feel so much better now that my secret has been made known to the world. Good day, my friends.

July 15, 2010 at 9:34 amMy husband used some variety of Axe body wash when we first started dating and the combination of the Axe scent mixed with the Tide he washed his clothes in (I’m allergic to Tide if I wash my clothes in it and go out in the heat, but snuggling with my Tide-rinsed honey didn’t seem to hurt) and the fact that I was in awe over his chiseled country-boy back muscles and strong arms all together made it next to impossible to remove my sniffer from his personal bubble. Thankfully he didn’t have much of a bubble to begin with.

I find that this is the only deodorant that I have ever used that does not start “not working” after a month or so and it is the only deodorant that stops me from smelling all day, even after a long run. It does not make me smell “manly” either. Perhaps I should do an “Old Spice Woman” ad?? Ha ha!!!

Oh, and if you’re ever in Berkeley again, check out Cafe Intermezzo, on Telegraph between Channing and Haste. The. Biggest. Salads. Ever. that come with a ginormous slab of incredible honey wheat bread. And there’s a tree inside the restaurant, with Christmas lights on it. Peace/love/indoor forest? Yes.
